Sunshine Coast Airport has installed digital accessible wayfinding solution BindiMaps in order to help its passengers seamlessly navigate facilities and become one of Australia’s most accessible airports.

Vienna Airport and Austrian Airlines are implementing measures to make their services more accessible. Travellers who are blind or have low vision can be guided through the airport utilising the Aira App.

Swedavia is introducing solutions to enhance assistance services for passengers with reduced mobility at Stockholm Arlanda and Göteborg Landvetter, with “digitisation and innovation playing an important role”.

Fort McMurray International Airport has enrolled in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, with the aim of ensuring that “employees and partners can better support passengers in their airport journey”.

London Luton Airport and easyJet have hosted an accessibility familiarisation day, enabling travellers with both hidden and visual disabilities to experience all aspects of the airport’s end-to-end passenger journey.
