Lufthansa is offering travellers departing from FRA a new and innovative baggage collection and check-in service in cooperation with technology provider AirPortr, as the airline further expands its premium services.

Singapore Airlines has collaborated with Bagpoint – a Partner of the FTE Baggage Innovation Working Group – to launch a home baggage pickup and check-in service for passengers departing from Schiphol.

Air France – a Partner of the FTE Baggage Innovation Working Group – and Alltheway have partnered to extend their baggage drop-off and delivery services to Paris and the Paris region, further enhancing CX.

easyJet is offering new luggage collection, delivery, and door-to-door services in collaboration with Airportr – a Partner of the FTE Baggage Innovation Working Group – initially from LGW and GVA.

TUI has started offering a home pick-up baggage service in collaboration with Bagpoint. The service is available for all flights booked via TUI that depart from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and for which online check-in is possible.

The new digital hub is part of the ongoing evolution of the FTE Baggage Innovation Working Group, offering members a source of inspiration and a plethora of useful resources.

Passengers travelling from Abu Dhabi Airport can now check in their bags, pick their seat and collect their boarding pass and luggage tags from their home.

The service, delivered with Marriott, is available to Polaris customers flying between New York/Newark and London Heathrow airports.

BAGTAG has announced the development of the world’s first multi-solution EBT (Electronic Bag Tag) platform, BAGTAG BRIDGE, in partnership with One Bag Tag.

The service enables customers to have bags collected from their home, where travel documents are scanned and validated to complete the check-in process.
