The wireless inflight entertainment (IFE) system has been developed by Turkish Airlines in cooperation with Turkish Technic Inc. and Havelsan.
The deal covers at least 58 of United’s new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and will support high-speed Wi-Fi, VPN access and wireless IFE.
Cobalt Air has signed a three-year agreement with Bluebox Aviation Systems for the deployment of Bluebox’s portable wireless IFE platform, Bluebox Wow.
The iPad-based IFE solution includes controls and menus that are easy to detect and navigate, closed captions and audio-described content.
The carrier has announced new content partnerships with Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation (TCFF) and Fox Networks Group (FNG).
Air Europa will introduce a new in-flight entertainment product in early 2018 across its fleet of 15 Boeing 737s and 11 Embraer 195s.
