PLAY Airlines is to trial Bluebox Aviation Systems’ passenger-facing onboard retail solution. The aim is to provide a platform to add new channels of revenue generation, while enhancing the passenger experience.

easyJet has selected Omnevo as its partner for ancillary e-commerce. The airline will roll-out a re-imagined pre-order and pre-select offering across its ‘Eat, Drink, Shop & Duty Free’ range this autumn.

flydubai’s new eShop allows passengers to pre-purchase duty free products before they fly and have them delivered to their seat when they travel.

United Airlines has launched a new inflight pre-order initiative, which forms part of the airline’s customer experience transformation strategy.

Eurowings Discover has teamed up with Retail inMotion to offer food and beverage and boutique products via a fully digital, immersive inflight catalogue.

The airBaltic SKY Service platform will enable passengers to use their mobile devices to order items from the onboard menu and duty free shop.

The service will allow British Airways’ customers travelling in economy class within Europe to order additional snacks and drinks directly to their seat.

Singapore Airlines’ new inflight shopping experience is available on the KrisShop e-commerce platform via the KrisWorld IFE system.

Passengers using the service can use their own mobile devices to reserve airport transfers to their final destination during the flight.

The new digital platform, developed by gategroup, will offer easyJet customers a convenient way to access inflight retail services from their own mobile devices.

Passengers can access the SKYdeals shopping platform for free, by using the onboard internet portal FlyNet on their mobile devices on flights within Europe.
