The Windsor by Heathrow – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub – is elevating its luxury offering with the launch of its first bespoke Afternoon Tea experience, created in partnership with acclaimed pastry chef, and Bake Off: The Professionals judge, Cherish Finden.
The Signature Afternoon Tea menu has been carefully curated by Cherish and will be available exclusively to private clients travelling through The Windsor – Heathrow’s award-winning private terminal. Guests are encouraged to pre-book the experience – included as part of a private client booking – ahead of their visit.
From delicate savouries to exquisite pastries, every element has been carefully created to balance taste, texture and artistry, offering travellers a moment of indulgence before their journey, or a special welcome upon their arrival to the UK. Served on bespoke crockery on a unique tiered stand, the offering brings together British tradition with the vibrant flavours and artistry of Asia.
The signature collection includes exquisitely crafted pâtisserie creations, including an indulgent chocolate gâteau layered with Guanaja whipped ganache, crunchy praline feuilletine and silky Dulcey crémeux; and a tropical coconut delicacy combining lemongrass-infused pineapple compote, coconut mousse and coconut dacquoise.
Best known for her exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and appearances as a judge on Channel 4’s Bake Off: The Professionals, Cherish brings her world-class expertise to a menu that reflects the personalised, luxury service for which The Windsor is renowned.
“At The Windsor, we want every guest to experience the very best of British hospitality, with exceptional service and care throughout their journey,” said Charlotte Burns, VIP Lead at Heathrow. “That’s why we’re delighted to be introducing our first Afternoon Tea experience with the incredibly talented Cherish Finden, to bring our guests an extra touch of luxury during their visit to The Windsor.”
Cherish Finden, Executive Pastry Chef, said: “My Afternoon Tea collection for The Windsor is inspired by my Singaporean roots, cherished culinary memories and over 30 years of international culinary experience. Each creation has been thoughtfully crafted to tell a story of flavour, craftsmanship and discovery. I hope guests of The Windsor enjoy the beautiful, bespoke experience we’ve created.”
The Afternoon Tea is available now, exclusively for private client guests travelling through The Windsor, as part of their private terminal experience.
