Geneva Airport is responding to increasing demand for digital travel solutions with the implementation of self-service touchpoints at check-in, bag drop, and security, as well as a new Airport Operations System.
Paris Aéroport is installing more than 100 state-of-the-art self-service bag drop units at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports. The technology will mean passengers can drop bags in just 30 seconds.
The first phase of the $2.3 billion Delta Sky Way features new centralised check-in lobby, expanded security checkpoint and baggage claim.
The system is equipped with a biometric photo-matching technology that compares a scan of government-issued identification with a photo of the passenger for verification.
The airline is trialling a range of new technologies at San José Mineta International Airport, including new iPad check-in and bag-drop system.
The airport has selected Elenium Automation to install its VYGR self-service technology, including 30 portable check-in kiosks and 23 bag drops.
