American Airlines expands premium CX at DFW with Flagship check-in and new lounge spaces

American Airlines is investing in an enhanced premium CX at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, with a dedicated Flagship check-in experience and new lounge concepts designed to make travel more seamless and personalised.

Summary:

  • American Airlines is enhancing the premium passenger journey at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport with a new Flagship check-in experience and two new lounge concepts.
  • The investments include American’s largest-ever Admirals Club lounge in Terminal C and a Provisions by Admirals Club offering in the future Terminal F.
  • The enhancements reinforce DFW’s role as American’s largest hub while supporting a more seamless, personalised and premium airport experience.

American Airlines is expanding and enhancing its premium customer experience at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), unveiling plans for a dedicated Flagship check-in experience and two new lounge spaces, all designed to make travel more effortless, comfortable and tailored to each customer. The investments further strengthen DFW as American’s largest hub and reflect a focus on delivering a world-class premium journey. Both American Airlines and DFW are Headline Partners of the 20th anniversary edition of FTE Global, taking place in Dallas, Texas, on 8 to 10 September 2026.

Customers travelling through DFW can look forward to Flagship check-in in Terminal D, American’s largest Admirals Club lounge in the redesigned Terminal C and an on-the-go Provisions by Admirals Club option in the future Terminal F.

American’s new Flagship check-in experience will open later this year and offer eligible customers a dedicated, elevated arrival experience at DFW. The exclusive space will feature a private check-in environment, individual assistance from American team members and convenient access to security screening, allowing customers to easily make their way from curb to gate. The experience builds on the premium service offered through Flagship check-in locations at select American hubs around the world.

“We’re investing in every stage of the premium travel journey at DFW, beginning the moment customers arrive at the airport,” said American’s Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden. “Our Flagship check-in experience offers a more tailored and streamlined start to the journey, bringing together dedicated service, premium amenities and greater convenience for our most loyal and premium customers.”

Inspired by the warm hospitality and local character that define American’s newest lounges, the new Admirals Club lounge in Terminal C will provide customers with a welcoming retreat in the heart of DFW. Conveniently located near the Terminal C Skylink station, the lounge will offer 37,000 square feet for customers to recharge and refuel before their flight. This new space will be the largest Admirals Club lounge in American’s network.

Thoughtfully designed with a variety of seating options, premium amenities and dedicated areas for work and relaxation, the lounge will serve as a modern home away from home for travellers connecting through American’s largest hub.

These investments build on American’s ongoing commitment to elevating the lounge experience, giving customers more fresh, flavourful and high-quality dining options throughout their journey. Together with its convenient location and modern design, the new Admirals Club lounge will offer a distinctly premium experience that reflects the airline’s continued investment in customer comfort, hospitality and choice at DFW.
