Manchester Airport has become the first UK airport to offer passengers the opportunity to pre-book a free 15-minute security slot, as part of a new trial.

In an effort to protect passengers and staff from COVID-19, Bengaluru Airport has introduced contactless technology at all steps of the journey.

Some of the technology to be trialled at Heathrow include UV sanitation, facial recognition thermal screening and contact-free security screening equipment.
