The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) expedited screening programme, PreCheck, has been extended to Philadelphia International Airport.
Glasgow Airport has introduced six automated boarding pass scanners in the security hall to reduce wait times at the security checkpoint.
The TSA has rejected four footwear scanning devices following a trial period, ending hopes of a significant change to the current airport security process in the near future.
