The new suite will arrive on the airline’s first A350 in July and will offer features such as a flat-bed seat, personal door, Wi-Fi and 18.5-inch IFE screens.
The Sleeper Seat is available in Economy Class on the airline’s A330 aircraft and transforms a row of three seats into a bed.
The new Economy Class experience will feature an innovative seat design, additional leg room, 4K IFE screens, faster Wi-Fi and a new dining experience.
The new cabin combines the best features of Alaska Airlines and Virgin America, along with many enhancements to improve the travel experience.
A total of 24 finalists have been selected for the 2019 Crystal Cabin Awards including airlines, manufacturers, suppliers and universities from all over the world.
The new cabin interior will be introduced to the airline’s Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins across its Airbus A330 fleet.
A total of 94 entries from 22 countries have been shortlisted for the 2019 Crystal Cabin Awards, for which Future Travel Experience is a Media Partner.
Enhancements to BA’s premium economy cabin, World Traveller Plus, will include new furnishings, an enhanced service and an improved dining experience.
The project will see Mirus’ Hawk seats retrofitted to a number of aircraft operated by TUI Group in the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The new cabin interior will be introduced to over 200 aircraft through a retrofit programme over the next two years and will also feature on LATAM’s new aircraft.
The suite is complemented by a dedicated check-in counter, First Class Lounge access, 50kg baggage allowance as well as fine dining onboard.
