Panasonic Avionics’ David Bruner tells FTE that improved connectivity will drive uptake of live onboard television and real-time in-flight re-accommodation.
Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) will offer more than 350 in-flight entertainment channels from February 2015 – 40% more than in March 2014.
Alaska Airlines has partnered with Gogo to offer wireless in-flight entertainment, which is already available on 50 of its 737s.
