The EU Entry/Exit System is gradually being rolled out in European countries. Zurich Airport has launched the biometric system, supported by advanced border control technology from secunet.

The Lithuanian airports of Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga are among the first to have made necessary changes to prepare for the EU’s new Entry – Exit System, which is expected to enhance passenger convenience.

Ferries del Caribe has become the first cruise operator to install automated border control kiosks onboard a cruise ship or ferry.

The new e-gates are now available at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Cairns, Gold Coast, Darwin and Adelaide airports.

Carrasco International Airport has officially unveiled its new eGate system for passengers arriving at the airport.

The nine automated passport control e-gates will automate the border control process for travellers flying to destinations outside of the Schengen area.
