Using headsets provided by Inflight VR, guests can enjoy immersive virtual reality video content while waiting for their flight.
The Allosky Cinematic VR headset will be piloted as a First Class amenity onboard Alaska Airlines’ Seattle-Boston and Boston-San Diego routes.
Etihad Airways and Emirates are trialling SkyLights’ Bravo Evo headset, while travellers visiting Aviapartner’s lounge at Fiumicino Airport can use Inflight VR’s own solution.
During the two-month “Virtual Cinema” pilot, passengers can watch a selection of 2D, 3D and 180°/360° content in the SkyTeam lounge at Dubai International.
