In-flight connectivity provider Gogo has received a Supplemental Type Certificate to install its Ku-satellite technology on Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
Passengers flying with Southwest Airlines can now use onboard Wi-Fi from gate-to-gate thanks to Ku-band satellite connectivity from Global Eagle Entertainment.
