TAV Operation Services has been awarded the Business Lounge services contract at RIX Riga Airport following an international tender process, marking an important step in the continued evolution of the Primeclass experience and the company’s longstanding collaboration with Latvia’s largest airport.

Having successfully operated at RIX Riga Airport for many years under its Primeclass brand, TAV Operation Services will continue to play a key role in supporting RIX Riga Airport’s evolving hospitality strategy, strengthening the premium dimension of the guest journey and helping transform airport time into a more meaningful part of travel.

“TAV Operation Services has been a trusted partner at RIX Riga Airport for many years, and we are pleased to continue this cooperation following the international tender,” said Laila Odiņa, Chairperson of the Board, Riga Airport. “Primeclass is an important part of our passenger experience, and we look forward to further developing premium hospitality services that add value to the overall journey at Riga Airport.”

Through Primeclass, TAV Operation Services will bring its renewed, lifestyle-led hospitality approach to Riga Airport, moving beyond the traditional lounge model to create spaces that are not only functional but also emotionally engaging, locally inspired, and globally competitive. By combining design, service culture, culinary excellence, operational know-how and a strong sense of place, Primeclass will contribute to a more seamless, distinctive and memorable airport experience that reflects both international hospitality standards and the unique identity of Riga.

“We are honoured to deepen our collaboration with Riga Airport, building on years of partnership and shared commitment to enhance airport hospitality,” said Aude Ferrand, Chief Commercial Officer at TAV Airports and CEO of TAV Operation Services. “TAV Operation Services focuses on integrating hospitality into the airport ecosystem, connecting travellers, airports, and partners for a seamless guest journey. Airport hospitality is undergoing a profound transformation. Today, travellers expect more than comfort; they seek experiences that are seamless, personalised and meaningful throughout their journey. The future of airport hospitality will be defined not only by physical space but also by how intelligent services, operations, and digital capabilities come together around the needs of the guest. At TAV Operation Services, we believe our role is to help bring hospitality more deeply into the airport ecosystem – connecting lounges, services, operations and digital touchpoints to create a more integrated and guest-focused journey. Through Primeclass, we will continue bringing our global expertise to RIX Riga Airport while creating experiences that reflect the unique character of Latvia. Together with our partners at Riga Airport, we look forward to shaping the next generation of airport hospitality and contributing to the airport’s long-term vision for growth and service excellence.”
