The BARTA (Brands, Airlines, Retailers, Technology, Airports) trial, which began in March, involves a unique collaboration between Budapest Airport, Heinemann Duty Free and Wizz Air.
The trial will allow passengers travelling to and from Sydney Airport to search and purchase duty free inventory in-app throughout their journey.
The BARTA initiative goes beyond the existing airport-retailer-brand relationship, bringing an airline into the mix for the first time.
The car rental scheme allows people to rent out their vehicles to others while they are away travelling. Owners of larger cars can expect to earn up to £160 per week.
