As part of the ongoing Simplifying the Business (StB) initiative, the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Fast Travel programme is rapidly progressing, attracting global support from airlines, airports and passengers alike. The first CUPPS (Common Use Passenger Processing System) certification has been achieved. In August, SITA became the first platform provider to achieve compliance certification and to successfully complete its CUPPS Pilot Program. Ross Falconer reports.
