Lufthansa has announced the first A320 aircraft with broadband will fly this autumn, with the rest of the A320 family’s installation coming by 2018.

Over 20 airlines and 1,000 aircraft will have access to the Ku-band broadband service, after Panasonic announced a one-year extension to its China trials.
Finnair has announced that it will be bringing Wi-Fi to its A330 aircraft for long-haul flights, with the installation to be finished by May 2017.

IAG has announced an investment in Gogo’s 2Ku technology to provide in-flight connectivity on long-haul British Airways, Aer Lingus and Iberia services.
