Travellers now have an opportunity to escape the busy airport environment thanks to Fraport’s introduction of so-called “silent chairs” and yoga rooms.
The VIP Lounge includes a business centre with private workstations, internet access, power outlets, flat screen TVs and a play area for younger travellers.
Passengers flying from Portland will soon be able to catch a short movie in the airport’s new cinema, which is due to open in Spring 2016.
Fraport has launched a new online and app-based shopping service, and plans to introduce a delivery service to Frankfurt Airport’s departure gates.

The new San Francisco Club is twice the size of the old lounge and includes bespoke artwork, a premium bar, high-end menu, and views over the runway and bay.
