Spirit Airlines is introducing biometric check-in which would reduce face-to-face interactions between airline staff and passengers.

AirAsia passengers travelling through selected airports can avoid paying fees, by using the airline’s website, app or contactless kiosks to check-in.

Japan Airlines is starting a trial of a new touchless technology at Tokyo Haneda Airport, which allows customers to check-in without touching the screen.

The camera-enabled technology, developed by CrowdVision, will help to monitor social distancing at John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 4.
