Air France has opened of its refurbished lounge at San Francisco Airport. The lounge has been expanded by 90sqm to 565sqm, with new spaces and more services, and is described as “a real haven of peace”.

Alaska Airlines is partnering with CLEAR – the secure identity company – with the aim of providing a friction-free travel experience with CLEAR Plus, while also accelerating the adoption of digital identity.

Austin-Bergstrom Airport (AUS) is embarking on a new era of transformation through the ‘Journey With AUS’ programme. It is inviting travellers to take a survey that will inform the midfield concourse project.

The next step in Pristina Airport’s major modernisation project sees it move to the cloud with new operational and passenger servicing technology, “delivering faster, more efficient services for travellers”.

Manchester Airport has started work on the next major phase of its £1.3bn Transformation Programme, which aims to “revolutionise the customer experience”. This includes a new pier with 12 spacious boarding gates.

Alaska Airlines has reopened its renovated lounge in Concourse D at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The renovation is part of a $30 million improvement programme across the airline’s lounge network.

Fort Wayne International Airport has broken ground on the $70 million, 35,000 sq ft East Terminal Expansion and Renovation project, with the aim of delivering “the best possible experience for travellers”.

The General Plan (part of the Master Plan) for the new CPK Airport has been approved by Poland’s Minister of Infrastructure. The document sets out the development plan for the new airport until the end of 2060.

Keflavik Airport has implemented Veovo’s Queue Balancer solution to optimise passenger flow and improve the transfer process at border control, to “deliver a seamless and stress-free experience for passengers”.

UrbanV and SITA have signed an MoU to design and refine a new passenger processing and operating ecosystem at the test vertiport located at Rome Fiumicino Airport. Operations are scheduled to start in 2024.
