Ryanair has launched its new app, which passengers can use to book flights, hotels and car hire, and access flight information and mobile boarding passes.

FTE spoke to James Millett, Head of Digital at easyJet, about the iBeacon trial, and how the LCC plans to use the technology to simplify the travel experience.

Air France has partnered with Orange, SITA and RESA to trial Near Field Communication (NFC) boarding passes at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.
Etihad Airways has introduced mobile boarding passes, which can be used by travellers flying with the Abu Dhabi-based carrier from 13 cities.
