REDEFINING THE END-TO-END PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
FTE attended the IATA World Passenger Symposium, where distribution, the customer experience and the Checkpoint of the Future were on the agenda.
FTE flew to Vienna last week for the SITA Europe Aviation ICT Forum 2013, where we had the opportunity to test out SITA Lab’s Google Glass-based solution.
ARINC has completed the implementation of a variety of passenger processing solutions at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, including common use passenger processing technology.
FTE spoke to technology product design company Artefact Group and SITA Lab about the opportunities presented to airlines and airports by Google Glass and smartwatches.
Heathrow has become the first airport to adopt ‘positive boarding’, which gives passengers bespoke information to ensure they make their flight on time.
MIA passengers can view the latest in news and entertainment on their mobile phones with live streaming from CNN Airport Network, via the airport’s WiFi service.
